With his stomach ever-sinking as his brother’s research progressed, Leonardo finally marched over to the pool-room door and rapped sharply upon it. “Molly? Are you ready to come out?”
There was no answer. He tried the handle — locked.
Leo’s heartbeat quickened as another thousand worst-case scenarios sped through his mind, and he pounded a fist against the barrier several times. “Molly!” he barked. “Molly, can you hear me?”
“I’m fine,” her voice murmured

Leonardo paced uneasily, halfway between Donatello’s lab and the door to the swimming pool. Under his strict orders, Michelangelo and Raphael had retreated so as to keep from overwhelming Molly. With no other spectacle to play audience to, they had followed their nerdier brother into his element and were watching him arrange a set of slides by a microscope. “So,” Mikey tested. “She’s gonna be like, a turtle-ette now, or what?”
“It’s too early to tell,” Donatello replied through a set of clenched teeth. He hooked his laptop up to t

Molly weighed next to nothing when Donatello finally scooped her up out of the bed: he was gentle, but she still stiffened at the contact. April couldn’t tell whether it was because Don was a scaly reptile, because Molly was in pain, or because she was still traumatized by whatever had happened to her back at the shipyard. There was certainly something lurking in Molly’s eyes that she didn’t like.
Raphael was the first to spot them emerging from the train car; he had been hunting for sprinkles in the kitchen cabinets and was shaking them over his slice of triple-che

Outside of the lab, Casey used his one good arm to pull up a pair of lawn chairs that the turtles had found on one of their many nightly dumpster dives. He settled into the yellow one and let out a sigh as April sank down beside him to start bandaging his bicep. “How did Freckles look to you in there?”
“What do you mean? After the mix-up?”
Casey winced at her unintentional jerk at the wrappings. He finally turned to look her in the eye. “No, I mean… I just don’t know if she’s… well I didn’t know

The van’s side door slid open as they approached the shipyard entrance, and Donny peered out with a shake of his head to survey the utterly problematic situation unfolding before his eyes. “Well, this is an interesting development. Wasn’t the plan to not have Molly see you, Raph?”
“To shell with Leo’s plan, you dork. Now play doctor for a while while I drive this heap,” Raphael ordered as he passed Molly off to his brother.
“Hey, man, just for the record, I am not the sidekick,” Casey argued as he cla

"Check it out," Michelangelo whispered excitedly from the wall-top, where he and his brothers were watching the new Foot headquarters. The old shipyard was complete with a renovated warehouse sporting metal bars on tinted windows, and it was surrounded by a network of stacked metal shipping crates that not only turned the land into a maze, but could contain anything from smuggled goods to foot soldiers. Dark figures seemed to lurk in almost every shadow. “We could totally play live Pac-Man in there! Raph, you’re Blinky, Donny, you’re Pinky—”
“I am no

Molly and the Boys - Prologue
“Police are baffled today as they try to find an explanation for the night's horrifying sequence of events, even with the help of the morning sun rising over New York City. A single apartment building in West Manhattan was suddenly engulfed in flames at approximately 1am last night, and is now a pile of rubble. All but one of the building's inhabitants escaped safely with only minor injuries: however, tenant Molly Roy is unaccounted for.
“Miss Roy's friends claim that she was with them at dinner the night before, and was last seen leaving for home early in the evening. Howe

The Story of Bleecker
There once was a kitty named Bleecker
Washed into a gutter by rain
But Raphael found him
Before the rain drowned him
Deep down in that grungy storm drain.
He was wet, cold, and brown in the puddles
But (once washed) had puffy orange hair
And was named for the street
With best pizzas to eat
Since they first heard his meowing there.
